The Low & Medium Voltage Division
of Siemens Infrastructure & Cities sector provides leading-edge products

, oil and gas, heavy industry and processing, large-scale infrastructure and
buildings. In addition, the Division provides compact switching stations for
smart distribution networks in metropolitan and rural areas , as well as energy
storage solutions for all markets .
In this context, Siemens Nigeria Ltd
is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for project management
of medium voltage distribution in the relevant project and quality , ensuring
business success and ensure a professional management stakeholders.
What are my main responsibilities ?
Responsible for resource management
, contract management , claims management and change commands projects
Establish and monitor project plans
Assessing and managing project risks and opportunities
Provide technical support to the sales team during the acquisition phase
Develop relationships with customers and upsell opportunities
Manage suppliers, subcontractors and members of the project team
Profit and loss responsibility for the project
Implementation and monitoring of the project in accordance with the standards and guidelines PM @ Siemens / International PM .
Establish many contacts to customers during the project and to maintain good relationships with customers
Monitoring of project finances the project controller to achieve financial goals
Manage contractual agreements with the seat , suppliers and customers.
Implement claim / change management processes .
Implement preventive actions / corrective if necessary to complete the project on schedule and according to the contract .
Optimize and prioritize process standard work and drive continuous improvement activities
Ensure compliance with all regulations and HSE practices applicable to fill at the site and make sure that all legal requirements and Siemens Corporate HSE are met.
Coordinate and collaborate with members of the project team (engineering, order management, purchasing, etc. ) sales and clusters.
Prepare regular project reports , discussions on the project status and progress reviews
Plan and execute site preparation by the management of both internal and external resources.
Coordinate and supervise the installation site, installation and commissioning.

What do I qualify for this job?
Professional Diploma in Electrical
Engineering , Power System Engineering or equivalent.
Advantage: Graduate degree in business management , business administration or other relevant field.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in project management (preferably in the energy and Oil & Gas sector).
1 year management experience minimum site.
Experience in project management application of minimum 1 year .
Knowledge of power distribution products (MV and / or LV ) including protection, measurement, control and automation .
Knowledge of compliance , negotiation , communication methods , claims management, risk management, business planning and regulations on health and safety.
Internationally recognized certification in project management.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (including MS Project , MS Word , MS Excel , MS Outlook, etc. )
Advanced regarding business processes and utility electricity distribution knowledge.
Considerable experience working in the energy sector .
Knowledge of the policies of the business logistics and rules of international procurement .
Leadership experience and methods of personnel management and development, team building , motivation and conflict management.
Excellent ethical behavior ; observe and comply with all rules of conduct and compliance systems .
Advanced level of social skills and intercultural skills .
Advantage: Experience working in public services or Oil & Gas sector.
English : fluent with good reading and writing skills .
Advantage: Graduate degree in business management , business administration or other relevant field.
