The Measurement, Learning &
Evaluation (MLE) Project for the Urban Reproductive Health Initiative(URHI),
funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to evaluate urban family
planning initiatives require the following:
- MLE COUNTRY MANAGER – ABUJA, NIGERIA
The incumbent will monitor and
evaluate the impact of the URHI within and across target countries through the
implementation of large-scale household and facility surveys, Build country and
regional capacity to undertake rigorous M & E, Facilitate knowledge
sharing, document and disseminate best practices and expand the knowledge base
of and evidence on urban RH programs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Public Health or related discipline with 3 – 5 years relevant experience or
- Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field with 5 – 8 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of survey design, questionnaire development required
- Supervisory experience of field enumerators
- Experience with the management and implementation of large scale demographic field enumerators
- Good understanding of M & E principles
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience in STATA/SPSS and data analysis
- Experience working with donor agencies
- Good use of English language
