A reputable Construction company requires the services of the following position listed below:

Job Title: Architects (Grade II)

Location: Any City, NG

Duties

• While working with more Senior Architects, perform routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic Architecture principles.
• Assist in the preparation of Design Drawings, Construction Drawings and Presentation Drawings, and directing the work of Draftsmen.
• Provide drafting, design and calculation support to facilitate the development of projects pertaining to other areas e.g. civil Engineering.
• Visit construction sites frequently or be assigned to construction sites for extended periods of time to ascertain the accurate implementation of designs.
• Actively working towards professional Registration, it not already attained.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture.
• Applicants with non-Professional Bachelors degrees must possess in addition a Masters degree to be eligible.
• Minimum of 4 years extensive experience, including Designing and Supervising the Construction of High-rise Buildings.
• Ability to use AutoCad, Microsoft Tools i.e Word & Excel, and the ability to obtain and use information obtained from the internet; and knowledge of other specialist Architecture design software.
• Must have experience supervising the work of less experienced Architects & Technicians, as wet as being actively involved in their individual professional development.
• Must have experience in producing Project Documentation, Preparation of Design Drawings, Construction Drawings and Presentation Drawings.
• Supervising the work of Draftsmen in tire preparation of Design Drawings, Construction Drawings and Presentation Drawings.
